5 Years of Service, Celebrating David Latham

We’re excited to celebrate David Latham’s fifth anniversary at Mustang Freightways as an integral part of our Edmonton facility since 2018, working diligently as a forklift operator to keep our operations always running smoothly.

A Day in the Life of a Forklift Operator

As a forklift operator, David is responsible for loading and unloading trailers using a forklift. Particularly in the morning operations, he plays a crucial role in preparing our drivers for deliveries and working closely with customers. Reflecting on his time at Mustang, David says, “I take pride in ensuring our drivers and customers are set up for daily success. It’s been a rewarding experience to be a part of the Mustang family.”

Passionate about Hockey

When he’s not working hard at Mustang Freightways, David is an avid hockey fan. His favourite team is the Edmonton Oilers, and his all-time favourite player is Leon Draisaitl. “I’ve always loved hockey and been a huge fan of the Edmonton Oilers. Watching Draisaitl on the ice is simply amazing,” he shares fondly. For David, hockey is more than just a pastime – it’s a way to connect with others and unwind after a long day.

Exploring the Great Outdoors

David loves to go camping in his free time, especially during the summer months. He has a soft spot for tent trailers and cherishes exploring the great outdoors and connecting with nature. “Camping is my way of unwinding and recharging,” David says. “Being surrounded by the beauty of nature truly brings a sense of tranquility and rejuvenation that’s hard to find elsewhere,” he adds. His camping adventures offer relaxation and create lasting memories and experiences with friends and family.
