Supporting Growth On and Off the Ice in Beaumont

At Mustang Freightways, we love seeing young people thrive. For the second year running, we’ve proudly sponsored the Beaumont U11 AA hockey team, and it’s been incredible watching these players grow. We recently caught up with Ryan Bresden, the team’s coach, who shared how the boys are stepping up, learning new tactics, and supporting each other every step, showing the true value of community and dedication.

Small Steps, Big Progress

The Beaumont U11 AA team is building momentum with a 4-2-1 record this season. Their recent games have shown their skill, growing chemistry, and teamwork. “The boys are stepping up, adapting to new positions, and tackling systems they’ve never played. It’s been amazing to watch their progress and see how they’re building each other up,” Coach Ryan shares.

The team is also gearing up for their first tournament in Saskatoon, which is an exciting milestone. “The boys are so excited to take a bus there—just like in the big leagues,” Ryan adds. Their hard work and commitment to getting 1% better daily are laying the foundation for a strong and rewarding season.

A Family That Plays Together

Ryan is part of the Mustang family in more ways than one, he’s married to Ashley Bresden, our 2023 Salesperson of the Year. We’re proud to support our employees and the meaningful work they and their loved ones do outside of the office.

Backing Young Blades

The Beaumont U11 AA hockey team is thriving this season, largely thanks to the support they’ve received. “Mustang’s support is instrumental in helping our young athletes develop their skills and passion for the game,” shares Ryan. “With their contribution, we can provide essential training, equipment, and opportunities that foster both their growth on the ice and teamwork off the ice,” he says further.

For the second year in a row, Mustang’s sponsorship has provided more resources, offered opportunities, and built confidence among the players. This consistent support has shown the team they’re part of something bigger, building a sense of community and belonging that inspires them to grow as players and individuals.

Skating Toward a Strong Finish

As the season unfolds, the Beaumont U11 AA team is focused on growing and making lasting memories together. With every practice and game, the players develop their skills, strengthen their teamwork, and build confidence to serve them on and off the ice.

“These boys are growing as players and teammates, and I can’t wait to see where we’ll be by the end of the season,” Ryan says. For us, being part of this team’s story is a privilege. Watching the players learn, improve, and come together highlights the value of investing in youth development and community support.
