Mustang Freightways and Operation Christmas Child 2025

Each year, our team unites to support Operation Christmas Child. We value this project because it brings us together and shows how small efforts make a meaningful impact. The shipments may look ordinary, but their purpose gives our work special significance.

Our continued involvement in this program reflects our belief that logistics can make a difference. Last year alone, our network moved 76,982 of Canada’s 436,290 shoeboxes, helping bring joy to children worldwide. Each season, we take pride in enabling this journey.

The Team That Makes It Happen

A large part of this effort is guided by Stéphanie Bougie, who manages and coordinates the work on our side. Stéphanie handles pickups across Alberta, BC, and the Northwest Territories, and keeps the shipment on track from start to finish. She works closely with churches, volunteer groups, and community contacts to make sure every detail is covered and every update is shared when it is needed.

Behind the scenes, Jody Ruttle, Jeffery LaChance, our dock staff, and our high-end drivers support the flow of pickups and trailer drops. Our teams across the terminals help keep communication steady and the process running smoothly. Everyone plays a part in making sure nothing is missed, and everything reaches the right place at the right time.

This Year’s Season

The 2025 collection season is already underway. Shoeboxes are coming in from churches and volunteer groups, and the momentum is building as the weeks go on. Each year looks a little different, but the goal stays the same. We help move everything where it needs to go.

A Tradition We’re Proud to Continue

Each shoebox carries small items that mean a lot to a child somewhere in the world. Knowing that our work helps those boxes complete their journey, we do not take it lightly.
