Mustang Freightways 2024 Recap

As we reflect on 2024, it’s clear the year has been one to remember. We expanded our services, strengthened our bonds with the communities we serve, and celebrated the people who make Mustang Freightways what it is. We focused on growing together and moving forward through every challenge and achievement.

Expanding Across Alberta

In 2024, we took a big step in Alberta by adding new service lanes connecting more towns and cities across the province. With these new routes, we are making life easier for businesses in places like High River and Wetaskiwin while continuing to strengthen the ties that keep these communities moving forward.

A Year of Milestones and New Faces

Celebrating milestones and welcoming new talent defined much of 2024 at Mustang Freightways. Shayne Mason marked five years with us, showcasing his growth and commitment, while Perry Huynh’s journey from Freight Cuber to Operations Support highlighted the opportunities for development within our team. Their dedication inspires us all to aim higher.

We also grew stronger with fresh perspectives. Noelle Byrne brought her expertise and enthusiasm to our HR team in Calgary, and Pearl Borromeo became a valued part of our Customer Service group. Each new addition has already made an impact, helping us move forward with renewed energy and purpose.

Partnerships That Deliver

With the help of our agents, we strengthened our connections across Alberta. Central Prairie Cartage in Red Deer brought local expertise to our growing network, helping us serve businesses more effectively. In Grande Prairie, JBL Cartage has been instrumental in reaching communities like Wembley and Sexsmith, ensuring freight moves smoothly across Northern Alberta.

An Impact Beyond Freight

Giving back stayed close to our hearts in 2024. Our team came together for food drives that supported local food banks in Edmonton and Calgary. Every can of food and bag of groceries donated by our team helped put meals on the tables of those who needed it most, reminding us of what we can achieve when we support one another.

Beyond food drives, we found inspiration in young athletes who embody teamwork and dedication. Supporting the Beaumont U11 AA hockey team for a second season was a privilege, and watching them grow and support one another both on and off the ice gave us plenty to celebrate.
