Bhupinder Singh Moves From the Driver’s Seat to the Driver’s Corner
Bhupinder Singh did not plan to stay long when he first joined Mustang. It was meant to be a summer job. He began as a local P&D driver, drawn in by the hands-on work and the independence of the road. He liked the pace, the routine, and the chance to meet customers face-to-face. Over time, it became clear he had more to give.
Now Steering From a Different Seat
These days, Bhupinder’s not behind the wheel. He’s the one making sure everything around it runs smoothly. “My driving experience helps me support the team and understand their needs,” he says. “I’ve learned how much coordination goes on behind the scenes to keep things moving.”
He starts most days with check-ins, ensuring that pickups are lined up and drivers are prepared. If there are delays or route changes, he is the one sorting them out. “It’s about staying organized and thinking on your feet. My job is to keep things moving and make sure drivers have what they need to do their job right.”
People First, Always
What keeps Bhupinder here is the people and the relationships he’s building. “You feel heard at Mustang,” he says. “You can speak up, and it matters.” That kind of trust is what got him to take on the coordinator role in the first place. “There’s a real team feel here,” he says. “One where you know who’s on your shift, who needs a hand, and when to step in without being asked.”
Volleyball and Good Food
Bhupinder likes to stay active with sports, and volleyball is his favourite. It is fast, focused, and just the right mix of competition and fun. It keeps him sharp and gives him something to look forward to at the end of a long week.
He enjoys firing up the grill on a nice day, keeping it simple with good food and a few close friends. For him, it’s less about what’s on the grill and more about the time spent. When he wants a quiet moment, he picks up a book. It helps him reset and clear his head.
Building Something Solid
Bhupinder’s story with Mustang is still unfolding. He is not chasing titles or trying to impress. He is focused on learning the job, supporting the people around him, and doing things well. That kind of mindset is hard to teach. It is also what makes him an excellent fit for where he is now.
